    Hi.

I use the Zoom H4n in my DSLR rig and am considering upgrading to the H6.

Question: If I have more than two channels coming into the H6, say I have four wireless mics recording mono on discreet XLR inputs for instance, is it possible to change the unit’s settings on the fly to choose which input source I’m hearing in my headphones?

It seems there would have to be a way to do this in order not to get two channels into the right ear and two other discreet channels into the left ear.

    Thanks.

Hey Stretch, just saw this today. New Tascam DR 44wl 4 track portable will stream audio wirelessly to your iphone ! also uses app to provide remote control of basic settings and controls…
Awesome idea even if only 4 channels. MAybe other manufacturers will jump on board.

    Best,

See page 80 of the Zoom H6 manual………
Download a copy before you buy a unit.

So you are going to operate camera, zoom, focus, frame, light, color balance, mic talent, set audio levels, and monitor the 4 signals, roll the H6 etc etc etc?……. and hopefully try and deliver a decent product……

Good luck (your going to need it)
