    Hi,

Not sure if this should be obvious or whatnot, but I’m wondering if there’s a way to do a slow zoom out on my entire project. I know I can zoom seperate layers, but I have around 10 videos layers that I want to zoom out all at once.

    Is this possible?

    Thanks,
    James

I’m not the expert but one way would be to render that portion of your project as a Sony MXF file and put it back on the timeline and then do your zoom.

You can try setting the layers as “compositing child” of the top layer (aka “Track” in Vegas) that you want to zoom, then doing keyframed track motion on the composition parent. That should affect all the children exactly the same as the parent. It also means you can have other tracks (eg overlays, captions) in your project that do not follow this zoom.

That’s a great solution. Even though I didn’t ask the question, I’m happy to know that answer which just didn’t occur to me.
