    It seems simple, but I’m not sure how I would go about making a quick zoom on something without it losing quality.

    I it just a matter of using two clips of the same thing, just one closer to the subject?

    that’s one way, but unless you have two cameras shooting at the same time, it may be hard to get the shots to matchup well.

    you can also do it in camera by just doing a quick zoom in on the subject.
