Zoom Amateur Part 2/ Field Mixer
Het folks I was asking about my Zoom H4N and using it on my own for a job, I do have one last question. I have a Sound Design 302 field mixer. Can that be used with the Zoom H4N to help improve the recording? and if not what would be a cost-effective field recorder that would produce quality sound in conjunction with the Sound Design 302 field mixer?

That’s Sound Devices 302.
The Zoom F4 will probably be a nice add-on if you can’t see a Mix-Pre 3, Mix-Pre 6 or 633. They all have their own preamps though. It’s very handy to have everything in one box. Especially if it’s Sound Devices gear.
