Zero Crossing
I was sure that there was something in the preferences where we could choose zero crossing on edits so that the chance of an annoying click was elimanated but I can’t find it anywhere and I have a client with very sensitive ears who can hear even the tiniest of these when they wouldn’t really bother me.

I think you are referring to Preferences>Editing>Quick fade length.

Thanks for your prompt response.
I don’t believe that the QuickFade option is what I’m looking for.
If you zoom way in on a file, you will see the blue wave line crossing above and below a yellow “zero crossing” line. This is where the voltage is at zero and less likely to induce any annoying clicks and pops. I thought there was some option that would move the edit point from a valley or a peak so that it would be in the zero point. There was on the previous software I had and I thought I saw some refernce to it in Vegas but can’t find it now. -
There is such a thing in Sound Forge.
