  Zeiss CP.2 Coverage

  Hey guys:

  been researching lenses for use with both the RED we rent, the 5D we are thinking about getting and some other stuff like the Alexa when its available.
  Many of these new PL mount cine lenses which are made for “Digital cinema” use from what i understand, Don’t give you a full frame coverage on 35mm sensors. Thus rendering them useless on something like a 5D.

  Are the CP.2’s capable of full coverage illumination on 35mm sensors ?
  their website says:

  “Full frame coverage (24 x 36mm) for focal lengths 21 to 85 mm”

  they have an 18mm which i will assume does not give me full coverage.
  I wanna buy lenses that give me full coverage so that any system i switch to, i wont have to think about it.
  Can you guys suggest a full coverage wide angle lens as an addition to this set, also looking for a 100 and 135 or 150 mm lenses
