    Hello
I create solid layer with zaxwerks 3d invigorator and i want to make the emitter type (particular) from layer..but my problem is that zaxwerks layer is 2d and the emitter type can apply only from 3d layer…..
any idea how to fix it?

    Hey!

Zaxwerks creates a “cheated” 3D effect…meaning that the layer is 2D and the plug-in renders the 3D effect, limiting its uses (its not a Maya or Lightwave). However, if you want to fake the 3D object being an emitter for particular, here’s how ya do it:…

    1) Create a new solid. Size/Scale/Mask to 3D shape.
    2) Layer map your Zaxwerks object to that 3D solid. Now you can manipulate the solid all you want int 3d, and your zaxwerks object will track it…it’s basically like a parent.
    3) Use that solid as the particle emitter.

I’m not sure if that will produce the desired results, but that’s the only way I can think of right now, there are probably others, but I’m not sure….

    Cheers!
