Z1-DR60-FCP and 32-bit Audio
Hey guys,
I’ve got some footage from a college student delivered to me on a USB drive as .DV files. The footage was shot on a Sony Z1 and recorded to A DR60 drive. When I get the footage it comes with 32-bit Floating point audio (not 16 Little Endian) and a data rate of 6.9 (3.6 is the usual for DV). My FC Suite (2) wants to convert/re-process the audio. There’s tons of footage and more to come. Using Quicktime to export/convert would take days. Any thoughts out there? Is there a setting he can apply that he’s missing? Unfortunately he is not very forth coming with info.I appreciate any help with this.
