Activity Forums VEGAS Pro Z1 and Clear Scan?

    No it doesn’t. Sometimes you can get away with a reasonable screen shot, if the PC has a CRT monitor, when you change the display settings to 60Hz to match the camera. That is if you are shooting at 60Hz NTSC. PAL obviously is 50Hz. Some PC cards can deliver this refresh rate. Trial and error I’m afraid.

    The other workaround is to use an LCD monitor on the computer, instead of a CRT. They don’t scan, so you don’t get a strobe bar across the screen.

    Well, actually they do, but it’s in the MHz range so it isn’t an issue for film or video.
