z-map image
On page 108 of the BCC AVX manual you’re shown a “z-map image” with darker foregd and lighter backgrd. How do you make such an image to get that rack focus effect?

I don’t have the manual in front of me but are you talking about the z-blur filter? If so, you can change the first dropdown menu in the effect palette labeled ‘view’ from view:normal to view:z map. I believe that is what you are looking for.
