YouTube export
Posted by Oliver Smith on January 27, 2016 at 2:41 pmI’ve been exporting various videos from Adobe Prem for use on YouTube.
When I upload the video, the text within the video seems to look blurred and the footage looks washed. I.E I have a white background which look murky
Any thoughts or advice?
Ollie

February 1, 2016 at 4:10 pmHi,
First issue I see is the Sequence resolution of 1422×832, while exporting as 720p (1280×720). Meaning you have some weird scaling going on between source and export which will degrade quality.
Are there video clips in your project, or is it all stills? What is the size of the stills? Might need to rethink the Sequence sizing and still sizes.
Thanks

February 1, 2016 at 4:22 pmVideo clips all on timeline, used the Adobe title maker in Prem to create titles.

February 1, 2016 at 4:26 pmSo what format/resolution are the video clips? I’m pretty sure they are not 1422×832 resolution 😉
You can right-click a video clip in the Project Bin and select Properties to see the specs.
Thanks

Also, here are the recommended encoding settings. Although from what I can tell, your settings seem right. It would be a good thing to reference though.
