youtube and final cut pro
ok I have been doing a few vids with Final cut and putting them on youtube. https://www.youtube.com/wrbigrob it took me ages to get Eyetv to export in the right format, and over my last few vids I have this down to a T.
I had been doing then in 720hd and all is well.
my last vid I decided to up the resolution to 1080, and that vid went up fine. now I have a new vid which I have spent ages editing, and rendering, it’s about 4.5 gb and has been sat in my compressor queue for about a day and a half lol……
is this normal?
Should I have stayed at 720hd?
I have 16gb or ram in my macpro, Final cut seems to use about 2 or 2.5, is there a way to allocate more? And is there also a way to allocate to Compressor?Sorry for all the questions, and thanks in advance for any help given…..
