Hello everyone hope you’re doing well. So after almost 12 years in the making I have finally managed to get myself a “Beast” desktop PC, well that’s what I like to call it lols.

Now that my desktop PC has a much higher spec that my previous desktop I will be able to render with ease, no need to wait hours for 10 minute video.

I’ve searched around on YouTube & Google to find the best 720p & 1080p render setting there’s over hundreds. I rather ask for recommendation from Expert’s on this forum as you have much better experience/knowledge.

    My “Beast” desktop PC Spec:-

    Operating System
    Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

    CPU
    Intel Core i7 4770K @ 3.50GHz

    RAM
    16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3

    Motherboard
    ASUSTeK Z87-PRO SOCKET 1150

    My Capturing Setting 720p:-

    Output
    1280×720
    29.97 fps progressive

    Audio
    224 kbps AAC

    My Capturing Setting 1080p:-

    Output
    1920×1080
    29.97 fps progressive

    Audio
    224 kbps AAC

Hope that’s enough details for you 🙂

    Thanks

    Steve

It depends on what you’re rendering it for. Is it for YouTube? Is it for Blu-Ray? Is it for a file to be played on your computer? That matters.

As for rendering settings, if your source material is 1080p, you might as well render to 1080p. If your source material is 720p, you’ll render to 720p.

That should narrow the “hundreds” down to a few.

If you are rendering for upload to Youtube then why not use their recommendations.

or just use the, Internet 1080p, and Internet 720p templates. Both Mainconcept AVC and Sony AVC have such predefined templates.

Yea, Vegas already has templates that are optimized for Internet delivery on YouTube, Vimeo, etc. Why not just use them?
