Your opinion please…
Posted by Steve Wargo on April 24, 2009 at 12:18 amCan I get your opinion on a small project we just did for a local actress? The video tells the tale. As for the music, Hank Williams Jr. called and begged her to use his music behind the piece. So did several other entertainers. They would have made me pay big time.

That was very cool and very well done.
I liked how everything flowed together, the graphical style matches the pace and feel of the project. Thanks for sharing this with the rest of us on the Cow!

I don’t want the snake, but I want his job in your next video. Okay?
BTW, nice piece, just a little too long. It’s just that I caught myself a few times thinking, “okay, I get it.” Otherwise a nice bit of sizzle for her.

April 24, 2009 at 8:54 pmHey Steve,
I liked this. Nice work! and yes, this is one case where being a snake has it’s perks!
Steve, The only thing that jumped out at me a little is this; In the middle section, when she is talking about all that she is doing, Hank Jr. is singin’ in the background and it was a little distracting and taking away from what she was saying. Wondering if some creative audio editing here would work. (as long as you had Hanks permission, of course) Maybe while she is talking, edit in a section of the song with out VOX and when she is on screen and we are looking at her but she is NOT talking let Hank wail, as he does so well.Just a thought. Thanks for sharing!

April 25, 2009 at 1:48 amWell shot and edited, just a little narcissistic for my taste (on the model’s part). I thought I was going to hurl when she said the only thing left from the bombed out shelter was her poster. I’m surprised she didn’t build a shrine to herself on site….
