Your Largest Vegas Project File Size?
Hey I just finished up a project that is over 3 megs for the .veg file. I got to wondering if anyone has ran into a limit for how big a .veg file could be.

I haven’t. There again I’ve not come across any reference relating to your “wondering” either, and I’ve been using Vegas for 10 years. However, I’m always willing to learn.
More to the point, why are you “wondering”?

Mine are all over the map from 1Kb to 894Mb. It all depends on how complex your project is since the veg file is everything you do on the timeline.

No real reason. I have been told that it is a good idea to break up projects into smaller chunks. I always assumed vegas ( 8.0 and 9.0 were buggy for me. 10 works perfectly so I am not upgrading to 11) would balk at a 2-3 mb veg file so I never took a chance until recently. It is a lot better to get all my tracks setup and do an entire project in one veg than to deal with multiples for sure. You guys probably already knew this…guess I should have started reading this forum alot sooner! Thanks!
