    Hi,

    I just wanted to ask for your favorite keying techniques, because I just use the standart Color key.

    Si I wanted to find out some more options and so please post your favorite techniques so I can try out a few of them to se which one is good for me.

    I tend to use difference matte, even when I have a proper green screen, because it’s more forgiving of the lighting. Though that only works when the camera is locked in place.

    But the camera I’ll use will move so that’s why I’m asking for that because I thought maybe there’s a better way to do it.

    So if you got a good trick or something please tell me.

    If you’re moving the camera at all, then the best thing is to light the screen as flat as possible. If it’s not lit well enough, you can use inner/outer key, but that’s pretty labour intensive.

    I think I’m gonna try out ULTRA 2, because on the Ultra page it’s said that Ultra works perfect even with bad lightning.

    Keylight (ships with AE 6.5) works great. Even with bad lighting and a poor screen I’ve gotten excellent results with very little work.
