December 24, 2014 at 5:00 amThe low level of the attack, and the difficulty of detecting it and removing it once in place, is what should make this concerning. Not scared, but aware. Same with the unfixable USB exploit that was discovered somewhat recently. Get some industrious hackers that hack a factory and all of a sudden millions of the USB and/or ThB devices ship with a hard to detect, hard to fix (if even possible) virus that takes root in your machine at the lowest level.
Tinfoil hat time? No, but there’s certainly no harm in being aware of the potential dangers out there.
