Of course it only happens when you pull a late night to try and meet a deadline… Just realized that I logged (and captured) a BUNCH of clips last night video only-no audio. Is there a way to recapture, but add A1/A2 to the track info? I’ve done a search and came up empty. Help ASAP would be great!

    Thanks,
    John

Make your clips offline (delete from disk) and then, in the browser and under the “Tracks” column, control click on the “V” (video only) next to each clip. you should then get a pop-up menu with alternate choices. Just select the audio/video combination you desire and recapture.
I just make the same mistake yesterday.

Thanks! I tried right clicking, but that did nothing. I knew there had to be a way to do this. I also discovered that if I dragged the offline clips into a timeline. exported an EDL. modified the track setting in the EDL, re-imported the EDL, and then recaptured, that I could accomplish the feat, I like your method better!

You can also go back to your log capture window and change your clip settings to Aud+Vid Setting. Then proceed as Tom said by deleting your media. Hilight the clips you wish to batch capture and when the Batch Capture dialog box pops up under OPTIONS: uncheck the use logged clip settings. FCP will redigitize using your current AV settings.
