    Hi All,

    MacOS 10.8.6, 32GB RAM, Blackmagic Decklink Extreme 3D, Sonnet 16TB external drive, FCP 7.0.3, Resolve 8.01

    I shoot on RED (4K, 16:9) 25fps

    Could someone kindly tell me the best workflow for final delivery on PAL DV and DVD? (That’s all that is accepted by TV stations where I am)

    I want to stay HD as much as possible. What are the settings to use in Resolve (1080i? 1080p? 1080i25, 720P50?) , FCP and Decklink?

    It’s confusing for me so I will appreciate any help.

    Resolve will only operate in the native framerate and resolution of your source media. Since you want to stay in HD, edit your RED footage in HD at 25fps, and after grading, send it back to FCP in its native resolution and create your SD materials from the FCP timelines and leave Resolve out of the cross-conversion process.
