Yet another 1080i question
Could somebody please help me…the JVC GY-HD110U records in 1080i24p, but not even in the new FCP 6 Studio 2 is there an option to import in 1080i24p. What do I do??

The JVC does not record 1080i at any frame rate. Not sure where you read this. It’s quite easy and common to convert 720p to 1080i after digitizing (if you really need 1080i).

It doesn’t record at 1080 but the menu will get to a 1080 option, I have never done it, but a client did and was imposible to load the footage to FCP, he just dumped the footage via analog to Beta SP.

By the way it was a GY-HD 100 A without the firmware upgrade
