I’m sure you have all seen those star wars posters that have a picture of yoda or luke or whoever, but when you look closer, you see that the picture is actually made up of hundreds of smaller pictures that act as pixels? Well here is a free program that lets you make these using your own pictures. The downside is that you can only load the program on a PC, but once you kick out your graphic, you can bring it in to FCP. I created a small project in FCP using a picture I made in this program and it looks awesome. I imagine you could do even bigger and better things if used in AE. Check it out and post your comments here!

I have tried both and I get better results using the 3D Matrix Plug-in from CHV. Export the file into AE and the results are amazing!

Love the Mosaic. Zoom in, put video in the target box, freeze, zoom ad infinity!

Those CHV filters are very similar to the CGM set – probably not suprising as they’re both based on the same fx script language, I suppose. I use the CGM morph a lot – quick and easy. This one looks the same

Actually these plugins just look similar, because I wrote a bunch of “his” plugins back a couple of years ago.

In addition, all FX-Script plugins are bound to the look-and-feel of Final Cut Pro. There is only one user interface that can be used by FX-Script plugins…. and, unfortunately, it can’t be changed or modified by the plugins. All sliders, color controls, checkboxes… and so on, look exactly the same, no matter who wrote the plugin.

    cheers
