I’m in Motion 4 working in 3D space. I have a group and no matter how I manipulate it (transforming position and rotation, etc…) the XYZ control handles are always oriented relative to 3D space. However, I would like to make the control handles relative to the plane I’m manipulating (similar to modeling in maya). I’m sure there’s a way to do this, but I must be looking in all the wrong places. Any help?
    Thanks.

If you use the 3D transform tool, and then open up the HUD (F7), at the bottom of that menu is a drop down that let’s you adjust what perspective you are rotating relative to. Does that help?

In the HUD, change the Adjust Around pop-up menu.
