We’re in the midst of testing an Xsan setup for a new AV client and as part of our testing process, we were trying to set an Xsan volume as a scratch disk location, but this volume does not appear in the Scratch Disk list of available volumes…any other mounted external drive does show up. Any ideas why the Xsan volume is not showing up and maybe more importantly, is using a SAN-based volume as a scratch disk considered good practice?
