I’ve been running this three mac pro setup for 7+ years with success but the technology has evolved and I haven’t. I’m planning on adding 2 new IMACs with a 12TB thunderbolt Promise Pegasus to the setup in order to run new FCP versions and increase the storage volume and access speed but keep the other three mac pros running for rendering and complementing purposes. In order to do so, does it make sense to gain fibre connection with a Sanlink for both IMacs and use Xtarget to access the 12TB Promise? Will I be able to maximized the w/r speed for both IMacs this way? D.
