XQD and UDF 50mbit 422 Mode
Hi All,
We are shooting a new game show with 2 X Sony PMW200s. EPs have asked for any recording solutions to expensive SXS media.(External recorders not an option)Can anyone confirm that I can use the UDF 50mbit 422 mode when recording on sony XQD media with the XQD Media card adaptor.
Are there any drawbacks to this media ( it’s 1/2 the price of the SXS)
Do I need the N or S versions?? Why??
Any changes in post flow from SXS cards using FCP7 or Adobe PP??

XQD is supported for UDF, we strongly recommend S-Series cards.
No real drawbacks but of course it is consumer media and is officially recommended as ’emergency’ or ‘backup’ media..
No changes in post workflow..
