  • Xpresso tag to control object it’s applied to ?

    Hi all,

I’d like to set Xpresso to control scaling of an object to be uniform. By that I mean when I scale X, Y and Z will scale in proportion. I’ve setup some basic xpresso to do this on an object and it works fine.

However, when I copy this tag to another object I have to re-open the xpresso window and re-link the object to itself otherwise it scales based on the original object.

Is there a way to force Xpresso to apply the expression to the object which the tag is applied to? This way I can just drop the tag onto any object and not need to re-open the xpresso window.

    Thx,
    Andy

Change the reference mode on the object node to “Use Start Position”. The default “This Object” will do just what you want.
