  • Xpresso Question -Repeating Count

I’m trying to create an XPresso setup that counts from 0 to 100 and then repeats, over and over again.

I’d like it ultimately have it connected to an align to spline node to have an object move along the spline, from 0-100%, then start again from 0-100% repeatedly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The easiest way to go about this is to keyframe the align tag’s position parameter. Then select it in the timeline and in the attributes manager, set “After” to “Repeat”. Then specify how many times you want the sequence to repeat.

in xpresso the answer is Modulo in a Math node or in a Range Mapper but Adam’s right, it’s easier with repeat in the timeline

    Thank you for your help!

After playing around for a while, I came up with a nice XPResso solution. I’ve attached a screenshot.

The animations that I plan on using it in are product demonstrations, so I needed something I can use/reuse within larger keyframed animations. I’n not sure if I would have been able to loop just a portion with key framing while having the rest of the animation continue.

But thank you again for your help.
