I’ve got effectors and deformers effecting object’s positions. Now I want to use those positions to drive other things in xpresso. I’ve tried its straight with different priority orders, I’ve tried point caching the effectors and deformers, I’ve tried baking the deformers in the timeline.
Manually moving the objects sends the data through expresso and everything works but having an effector or deformer move them and then wanting to use xpresso on the result does not. I even tried putting the cache object into expresso and pulling the stored data out of it.
Besides firing all the effected objects into an array in coffee and then running them through xpresso is there a simpler way?

have you tried feeding the effector into the sample node?

    Good idea.
I did, but i’m only used to employing the sample node (and data node) when using the cloner and its effectors. Here i’m using a turbulence force and a jiggle and trying to get the sphere to puppy-dog along with the cube. Position is really all I need but rotation would nice too. With the jiggle I wasn’t sure which went where in the xpresso chain. I’ve tried it like I would for a cloner with the Effector (the turbulence) being plugged in to the effector port on the Sample node and with the object’s global matrix being used, but I think the jiggle has to be in the somewhere.
I’ve also tried it with the Data node thinking that would give me another port for the Jiggle but no luck so far.
Am I thinking about this too hard?
Attached is a simple set up but obviously not working.

you can use the Data node but the cube needs to be in a Fracture object set to Explode Segments or Explode Segments & Connect, then the expresso becomes:
    Fracture-(Object)—–(Object)-Data-(Global Matrix)—–(Global Matrix)-Target Sphere
