Using Avid Xpress, the windowing behaviour isn’t what I’d like: maximimzing the UI spans both monitors, when I’d like it to stay on the main monitor, and panels tend to cluster in un-useful positions.

    Any fixes for this? Thanks.

Not sure what version of Xpress you have.

If you have a Toolset menu – you can choose a toolset, move the windows around and then save the Toolset.

If you don’t have a toolset menu…the way to do this is more difficult – via “Workspaces” in your settings.

Activate a workspace. Move the windows where you want. Duplicate it (and use the duplicate for configuring a different look – say for audio or effects). Last: open the workspace and tell it not to update it anymore.

    Best,
