Xpress DV 4.6 problem..Please Help
I have been having a lot of problems with my avid lately. First i am running a pentium 4 1.8 with 2.0 gb of ram. I have 2 internal 80gb drives, i have a nvidia geforce fx5700 graphics card with 256mb of memory. Here is whats going on, sometimes when i am playing back the sequence it will freeze up? then ill have to do a force restart on it to even get the computer back running. whats even worse is that when i am doing things like rendering effects or even playing it will just restart automatically on me. Nothing will warrant this problem it just restarts on me without warning. I have no clue what is going on or why its doing this but i cant do anything with it. I am stumped! The restarting thing will happen at different times to, like when i start the avid up it will do it then as well..Somebody please help!

It doesn’t appear your card is supported.

Although you don’t say if you are running Mojo, I suspect it’s your card.

Yep. Also, did you install svc pk 2? It poo poo’d a lot of drivers and cards.
