  XP parallels some acceptance issues

  I have been using XP in parallels 7 on my macbook pro, some of the software I have to run on it, is brand new chinese control software for LED displays. Some of these products I can run on my XP and some I have to run on a dell, the problem as I see it it some kinda lack of communication between parallels or XP to the software.
  I would rather use parallels than bootcamp because I can just flip between system controll on XP and, Mac only playbackpro plus which is a video control and sizing software.
  I’m not sure if I should upgrade to parallels 8 ($50) with XP or, bring in the heavies (windows 7 $120) or bootcamp
