  xp MBE -no sound when I add new audio hd footage

  Hi Guys
  When I add a sound file recored separately (from our microtrack recorder) to hd footage on the timeline the sound turns off. When I remove the hd file from the timeline the sound comes back on. The project is hd 1920×1080 50i the added sound is 16bit 48khz.

  If its because the blackmagic setting in premiere is fussy(only likes sound from capture) how could I re-render it so it would playback together with he vision.

  Sound is connected from the rca sterio output and is going to the back of a sony broadcast crt
