XMP error when opening project
Hi,
I got this message when trying to open some old projects – AE warning: Project XMP data could not be read: “Host_IO::Read, ReadFile failure” (114).¨
After clicking “ok” it takes a while (several minutes) before I’m in, and then I got this error message – Unknown file i/o error.
After clicking “ok” it takes av while again before I get the message – This project contains a render queue item that refers to a non-existent composition. Please verify that your render queue items refer to the correct compositions.
Any idea what is going on?

It sounds like the AEP file is corrupt. Do you have an earlier version, a backup or an autosave that you can open instead?
