If your in Premiere Pro CC you have 2 options.

    1. From the Project panel, select the sequence you want to export> File> Export> Final Cut Pro XML
    2. Select the sequence tab in the Timeline panel you want to export (make sure its highlighted), File> Export> Final Cut Pro XML

    That should do it.

Unfortunately I’m not on CC but I want to be. This sucks for me until I get it. I’m still waiting for Adobe’s answer to my “Why Should I Pay More question”: https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/378/3547#3741 Hope it comes soon.

In CS6 you cannot export a individual sequence. You export the entire project with all of its asserts. You can import your sequence into a new project and do it that way.

I’m not a sales person so I will not comment on why you need to upgrade, however I think CC is pretty cool 😉

I have the exact same problem as the OP. I’m running Premiere CC 7.2. I’ve tried both options listed here, but it always exports one sequence, and it’s not the right sequence.
The sequence it exports is actually used as a nest at one point in the sequence I’m trying to export.

Same here. I’m on CC 7.2, and it only exports the xml for one sequence, which is nested in the sequence I’m attempting to export.
