XML v2 problems
FCP 5, XML version 2: working on XSAN network on film. I cut a scene and export an XML, upon opening it again, in another bay or on my computer, a LARGE percentage of the clips come up with the red “out of sync” indicator…. in huge increments, like 5 minutes out of sync….. BUT the clips ARE in sync when you play them down. Also, stereo 48k aiff music tracks are being imported as mono with both channels panned left.
I remember this problem with stereo to mono in XML v1, but it’s still going on? And what’s with this fake “out of sync?” I have a funny feeling the sync issue is tied into an XSAN issue.
any help, or at least confirmation of these problems would be appreciated

Have all of the clips been captured and edited in FCP5?
