    XML to FCP7 issue

    I have some footage shot on Panasonic P2 1080 23.98 which i rough cut in premiere using the native footage in a 23.98 sequence. I am trying now to take that rough cut and XML to FCP7, and relinking to the transcoded DVCPRO HD footage I made from the P2 files. FCP however recognizes this as 29.97 footage and when I relink says the frames rate is off. I tried conforming the clips to 23.98 but that caused more issues. Where am I going wrong?

    is there some sort of pulldown I need to do? Final cut looks like it wants the footage to be 23.98.
