XML PROBLEM (FCP 7 to FCP 6.0.6
Hey all,
I am trying to open a color corrected version of a project (color corrected in 7, need to open in 6.0.6).
The onliner saved the XML files as v4, 3, 2, 1 for us. He had no problem reopening these in FCP 7 on his end.
On our side: the XML file seems to translate okay – we get some errors about transitions but the sequence pops intot the browser and all seems to be going okay.
Then, we try to open the sequence, it goes great until it hits 91% and then freezes, giving the beautiful beachball and locking up FCP.
Any ideas would be helfpul. I’m guessing something is on the project file timeline at about 90% that FCP 6 doesn’t like????

TITLE 3D. I have had issues when I have had a lot of TITLE 3D text in the sequence. Mainly more than 5 next to each other (credit sequence).
Have him export without any titles.
