    Hi,

So this is my first time using C100 footage, so using MTS files is really confusing to me.

I have imported my MTS footage in Premiere and have changed the clip names for organisation purposes, however, when I now export an XML for Davinci, it can’t find the clips to import!

I’ve tried importing the MTS files manually into the Media Pool, as well as ticking ‘ignore file extensions’ yet nothing works- this asks me to locate the files, which in turn only imports the AUDIO of the clip, not A/V, giving me this error:

Clip ‘090206’ in track V1 at timecode 01:36:00, with reel name ” and filename ‘00010.MTS’:
No overlap between specified target timecodes [00:26:31:17 00:27:14:10) and located file timecodes [00:00:00:00 00:00:42:18)
No overlap between specified target timecodes [00:26:31:17 00:27:14:10) and located file timecodes [00:00:00:00 00:00:42:18)
No overlap between specified target timecodes [00:26:31:17 00:27:14:10) and located file timecodes [00:00:00:00 00:00:46:02)
No overlap between specified target timecodes [00:26:31:17 00:27:14:10) and located file timecodes [00:00:00:00 00:00:46:02)

I have also tried unticking ‘automatic import into media pool’ yet I then get an error with

“The clip “090206” failed to link because the timecode extents do not match any clip in the Media Pool.”

Notice that 090206 is my scene description given in Prem not the clip name which would be something like 0009.

I would like it if I could keep the clip names the same for the sake of my sanity during the edit.

    Thanks.
