Importing an FCP 7 XML (tried flavors 4 & 5) into PPro.
FCP project has a simple nested sequence with one stereo audio track.
Nested sequence imports, audio wave form seen in timeline and can play the audio from the bin but nothing when playing or scrubbing the timeline.

Using FCP 7.0.3 and Premiere Pro 6.0.2 on a MackBook Pro running Lion.

    Any thoughts?

OK I’ve found this out :

Put dummy audio keyframe at start of the nested sequence and the sequence that forms it = all the audio plays fine.

Sounds like a teeny bug to me.

Anyone else experienced audio issues when bringing in Nested Sequences?

It is a known bug and we’re working on it.

    Dennis,

But as I said put a fake audio keyframe at the beginning, say just at 0db and the nested sequence plays fine.
A work around that has got what I needed done.

Thought I’d share with anyone interested.

I’ve been having the same problem. You might already know this, but I just found out that the audio is still there–it’s just at -∞. So, if you want to recover it, you have to actually raise it on the timeline–using audio gain won’t work.
