    XML from FCP7 into resolve – clip names go missing

    Hello all.

    i have a simple sequence in FCP7 of Synced rushes.
    all clips have been named, linked, subcliped, then multicliped.
    i wanted to bring the sequences into Resolve to make Rushes exports with good burn-ins.

    but when i import the XML, the the clip names have reverted to the original file names,
    also i don’t think the clips are Multiclips. (in FCP there were black ins and outs on some clips, these are now missing)

    i tried a simpler timeline from FCP: Synced, Linked and named.
    same thing: in Resolve all clips are now FILE NAMES, not clip names.

    can anyone shed some light on this?

    Experiencing the same issue – no fix found for it yet! Would be v grateful if anyone can shed any light on this.
