XML clips do not import back into FCPX from Resolve
Hello!
I can’t seem to find a solution to this problem by searching the posts.
I edit my DSLR footage in FCPX, export the XML to DaVinci Resolve and grade it there, render it, export the new Resolve XML, and finally attempt to import that graded XML back into FCPX.
The timeline comes in, however, none of the clips come with it, only that terrible red color.
The error message I don’t understand (I’m computer illiterate, round-tripping illiterate, etc.–it is my first attempt to use Resolve with FCPX). It says “The item is not on an edit frame boundary” then there’s a list of computer speak after that, referring to clips, I guess.
Can somebody offer assistance? Or at the least guide me in how I can start again without losing all of my graded clips in Resolve?
