  • XML between FCP6 and FCP5

Has anyone been able to use XML to open projects between two different versions of FCP?

    Specifically FCP6 and FCP5?

I need to do simple sound sync only on FCP6 that needs to be opened on FCP5. No fancy effects or anything, just lining up clips.

Am I understanding correctly what can be done with XML? Is this possible? Is it reliable for a production workflow?

    Thanks,

    Scott

Yup. Between 6.0.2 and 5.1.4. Zero problems.
