So I have been studying up on XML workflow, and as far as I understand, best is to use FCP 7 to cut the movie.

But for effects and colouring, which I use Colorista II, is Premiere. Now there is one problem though this time.

The project I am working with, my mate ain’t really done with yet. So he would still like to have the finished version in FCP, with CC.

Now both he and me have have the suite, so the filters exist in both software. But can the export keep that information?

If not, is it possible to maybe tweak it to make it possible? The main reason for using Premiere will be for the 64 bit support, which will really help when working and rendering while on trying basis.

I don’t think there is an xml way to ‘ripple’ your changes from FCP to Premiere Pro (while retaining what youv’e done in Premiere Pro.)

The closest I can suggest is that he finalize scenes, rather than the whole timeline and send you sequences of specific scenes.
