I have an hpx170. My ch 2 xlr is giving me problems. Sounds like its a bad connection. It sounds static. Sometimes it goes away if I wiggle it around. Has anyone had problems with this? Does the input just need cleaning? Thanks for any help!

Check the connection with another cable. If you still have the static, it’s in the cam. It’s possible the connection is dirty. You can try using compressed air in a can to blow out the connector. If there’s still static then you need to get it serviced. If the static goes away when you switch cables, then the first cable is bad.
