August 22, 2005 at 8:05 pmIn my oppinion, I would go with an XL2 if you want real 24p. If you want HD then go with the FX1. I use an FX1 for my job and I think that the focus is soft, but it still produces beautiful images. If you are not going to use other lenses then that might push you towards the Xl2. If I were you though, I’d wait until Canon announces their plans for HD.

I just don’t know how long Canon’s going to be with their HD offering – for now i think the major thing for me is going to have to be the HD – I guess i’ll [watch this space] to see what Canon come up with – with my luck it’ll probably be just out of my price range.
