  • XL2 shooting a LCD screen, best settings?

Posted by Eric Lochstampfor on January 3, 2011 at 9:58 pm

    Hi,

I’m new to the XL2 and at my new job I need to shoot a LCD screen of a webpage (typing in the web address, clicking on links, etc…) and was wondering what the best settings would be?

It’ll be indoors under flourescent lights.

    Thanks in advance!

Not ideal, but you can also use QT to do a screen record. (much cleaner)
    DV+indoor flourescents+shooting an LCD= not so great.

Point the camera at the screen and adjust you shutter,
    good luck.

    Yup, that works much better.

Thanks, did not know QT had that functionality.

    Great tip!
