  XL1 record and capture crazy glich in image and sound

  Hello there,

  I am using a Canon XL1 and lately its started to glich whole recordings. This is coloured square flashes all over. The sound is in bits. And when I plat it back in the Canon, the frame comes down.

  Also, there has been red flashing icon on the viewfinder for as long as I have used it, but I don’t know what it means – I don’t have a manual and they are not free at canon.co.uk It is a horizontal bar, with a line through it and I think a plus sign above.

  Any thoughts? I think it has something to do with the recording on the tape….the viewfinder is fine.
