  XHA1 Time Code Question

  I have been shooting SD for quite a while and always “blanked” a tape to assure continuous time code with a lot of “start” and “stops” when shooting. Being new to HD my question is when shooting HDV now,on the Canon XHA1 camera, should I still “blank” a tape for time code? I realize if I do I have to make sure I keep the same frame, etc.

  Any advice is greatly appreciated.
