  xha1 24p and premiere

  hi Guys,

  i replaced a head of department and “fell” into a spot where i have to shoot a video for a client, he wants the video in 24p. the video will then get motion tracked and 3d elements will be added.

  the thing is – i don’t know a lot about shooting video so here are some questions:

  1. why shoot 24p – why not shoot 25 fps and then convert to 24p (if that is possible)?

  2.how do you shoot 24p in the canon xha1?

  3.can you capture 24p to premiere (windows) via FireWire? or do you need a card? if so – what card is recommended?
