    XH A1 wont turn on

    Hello,

    My XH A1 refuses to turn on. If I switch the dial to one of the recording modes, nothing happens.

    The blue HDV light doesn’t turn on and the LCD stays black.

    There is power getting to the camera because if I go to VCR mode, the blue light turns on and the LCD will show the blue playback screen.

    Any Ideas?

    you have the standby switch on (near the record button on the handgrip).
